Tower Lights: our hidden contribution to illumination

When we look at a tower light—one of those structures that provide visibility, safety and operational continuity on construction sites, during outdoor events or in emergency contexts—we rarely stop to consider what lies behind its construction. Yet, what makes it reliable and long-lasting is not just the power of its lights or the efficiency of its electrical system, but the quality of its supporting structure. It all starts there, at the base. And that's exactly where the contribution of Gruppo Boschetti, through BM Beta Meccanica, comes into play.

The structural heart of a tower light

The base frame is the first component to be produced, assembled and tested. It is the structural foundation on which the entire tower is built: a chassis that supports the lighting modules, lifting mechanism, stabilizing blocks, and electronic units. In short, without a solid, precise and compliant base, a tower light cannot be built.

BM Beta Meccanica is responsible for manufacturing this core component—a task that requires not only technical expertise, but also an integrated management of production processes, timing and logistics.

A complex process for a strategic product

The tower light base is far from being a simple frame: it’s a metal component of considerable size (1650x1160x450 mm) and weight (approximately 150 kg), which is manufactured using all the key in-house processes:

  • High-precision laser cutting
  • CNC bending, to ensure consistent geometries
  • MIG and TIG welding, both manual and robotic, to achieve joints that are structurally reliable and durable

But that’s not all. Since this is the first component assembled by the client in their production flow, it’s critical to meet strict quality standards and exact delivery schedules. Any delay or non-conformity could compromise the entire production chain. That’s why our role goes far beyond being a supplier: we are an active part of the client’s production capacity.

Logistics and coordination: quality doesn’t stop at the workshop

The value we bring to each project doesn't end with welding or quality checks.
Each base is delivered on custom pallets of three units, with reinforced packaging designed to ensure safety during transport and to simplify storage.

Even our logistics system is structured to handle tight timelines and last-minute urgencies, without compromising final product quality. We operate with a logic of production continuity, where every detail—from technical data sheets to packaging methods—is designed to support and accelerate the customer’s workflow.

Tower lights and complex systems: the value of our know-how

Producing components for tower lights means working with technical complexity and aligning with the production dynamics of the end customer. In such projects, success depends not just on machinery, but on the ability to coordinate internal processes, human expertise and industrial vision. This is where Gruppo Boschetti excels: by delivering solidity, precision and reliability—exactly where it matters most.

An integrated supply chain that makes the difference

Now more than ever, manufacturers of systems like tower lights need partners who understand the complexity of their products and can manage variability, urgency and quality control in a synchronized way.

With its structured internal supply chain, ISO 9001-certified processes, and experience on high-value, technically demanding projects, Gruppo Boschetti positions itself as a strategic partner, not just a supplier.

Conclusion

The light of a tower is visible to everyone. But what makes it possible often remains unseen.
It’s the work of precision, planning and accountability carried out by those who, like us, build the most sensitive and structural parts of the entire system. If your company also produces complex systems and is looking for a partner who can deliver quality, punctuality and technical support, let’s talk. We’re ready to help you build the foundation of what’s to come.
